Weddings

I love officiating weddings - they are always such a happy and joyful occasion! I specialize in crafting services that are tailored to the couple getting married, and I can do a service that is fully religious (Methodist), fully non-religious, or anywhere in between. I will help you create your ceremony to be exactly what you want it to be and make sure that the most important part of the day goes smoothly and is deeply meaningful. I am LGBTQ+ friendly and happy to accommodate couples of all kinds.

If you want to get married in a church, I can do that. I am an Authorised Person for several churches in the Monmouth and Caldicot areas, which means I can both officiate the ceremony and legally solemnize the wedding.

If you want to get married outside of the church, I can do that, too, though then I can’t do the legal parts (yet!) The easiest way to do this would be to solemnize the wedding with the Register’s Office for a fairly low cost, and then you are free to have your ceremony be any way you want. If the legal bits sound a bit fiddly and complicated, don’t worry about it - I will help you figure that all out. At the end of the day, I will make sure you have a beautiful service that celebrates your love and has you legally bound in the eyes of the state!
